Blending Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon creates the world’s most prestigious sweet wine style, Sauternes. The blend derives vibrant acidity and grassy aromas from Sauvignon Blanc and owes its structure and mouthfeel to Semillon. Grapes are harvested in successive sweeps through the vineyard, picking only grapes with optimum levels of botrytis.
