Grapes for Lafon-Rochet come from the oldest vines of the vineyard, which give less fruit, but offer greater complexity. The wine is both simple and complex — a proper expression of Saint-Estèphe. Deep color, dark purple highlights. Expressing aromas of black fruit in most vintages. Soft and rich and with well-integrated tannins red and black fruits and an undertone of licorice. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
