Aromas of ripe cassis and blackberry jump from the glass, supported by tones of cherry cordial, a hint of pipe tobacco, some light floral tones and a deep bass tone of dark-toasted French oak. On the palate, creamy and expressive with striking depth. Finishing tannins are present but not overbearing.
