Ripe, rich, spicy and a bit less perfumed than our Santa Lucia Highlands bottlings, but perhaps more generous and voluptuous. This wine is largely from a Dijon clone (777) and a Pommard made using a modest percentage of whole bunches, native yeast, and punched down by hand.
